She grew up in the luxurious Upper East Side of Manhattan in a Catholic family. Her parents enrolled their daughter in the Convent of the Sacred Heart an elitist and religious institution. She was an avid musician from the age of a child. She started playing the piano at the age of an infant. When she was thirteen, she composed her first piece. She performed in open mic nights. She was a fan of Queen Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. She took music classes at the New York University Tisch School of Art after completing her high school education. Her education didn't last long before she decided to give up her music career.
