Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson, an ironworker from Chillicothe on February 20, 1937. She was the daughter of Lillian Ryan worked as household helper. Nancy was the eldest of six children. Nancy was greatly influenced as a girl by the music her father enjoyed and loved playing in the his home. As young as 4years old, Nancy was aware her destiny was to be a performer. Her talents were developed through singing in the choir of her church. She was a finalist on a talent show on TV when she 15 and began appearing regularly on the Tv series Skyline Melodies while still in high school. That same year, Nancy started to work at nightclubs. Nancy quit Central State University in Ohio after matriculating for an entire year. In 1956 she made her debut album in Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band. They toured together from 1956 through 1958. Nancy recorded her first album through Dot Records during the time she spent in this band. Cannonball adderley encouraged her to travel into New York in order to improve her career. She visited The Big Town, New York in the year 1959. Adderley's Agent heard her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract. within a month of her arrival to New York, she was in the city. A contract was formalized by Capitol Records in 1960. That year, she made her debut with. Guess Who? Capitol published five Nancy Wilson records in just two years. Her first album was focused on R&B however, under Adderley's influence, she embraced jazz. Their 1962 collaboration Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley was instrumental in propelling her to fame and her breakthrough smash Tell Me the Truth in 1963. This brought her a gig at the New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America the following year and she became a star.
Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actress that is active in TV as well as films. She was the main character in Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's film The Kissing Booth. She was Michal one of the daughters of King Saul in ABC's Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. Joy Richardson was her mother. She went to an exclusive high school prior to graduating from Oxford University. She has an Archaeology and Anthropology degree. Maisie began her career acting in the short film titled Our First World in the year 2012. Ellie was the character she played in 2013's short film Americano and Rum. In 2015, she was the character of Korr Sella in the film Short Wars: Force Awakening. She played Chloe Winthrop in Netflix's original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 & 3.
