Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe. She was the daughter of Olden Wilson, a ironworker, as well as Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy was the eldest child of six. Nancy was inspired by her father's music taste and the records that were played in her house. When she was four, Nancy knew that she would like to become an accomplished musician. She began to develop her talent by participating in choirs of the church. When she won a talent contest in a television show around the age of 15, she began to appear regularly on Skyline Melodies, while still at high school. In the year she turned 15, Nancy began her journey in night clubs. Nancy at the age of 17, had graduated high school, and then matriculated at Ohio Central State College (now Central State University) for an entire year prior to deciding to pursue a career as a musician. The first album she recorded was in 1956 with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band. The group performed with her throughout 1956 and 1957. Nancy started recording with Dot Records in 1956, as part of the group. Cannonball addederley recommended that she relocate to New York for her career after which she moved to The Big Town. The agent of Adderley heard about her in The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. Within one month of her arrival in New York City. In 1960, she was signed to Capitol Records, and that the same year, she debuted her first single. Guess whom I am seeing today. Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a period of two years. Adderley helped her move away from R&B to the torch and jazz genres. Nancy Wilson, Cannonball Adderley and their 1962 collaboration helped her reach the top. Her breakthrough smash Tell Me the Truth by 1963. This performance helped her land a gig in the New York Coconut Grove in 1963, which was America's biggest nightclub.

Joy Richardson's mom is Maisie Richardson-Sellers. She received her degree from Oxford University having completed her degree in a private institution. She holds a degree in Archaeology as well as Anthropology. Maisie began her acting career in the movie Our First World, released in the year 2012. She was in 2013 as Ellie in a movie called Americano and Rum. She was featured as an appearance as Korr Sella in the film Short Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. In the Netflix Original Film The Kissing Booth Season 2 or 3 she played Chloe Winthrop.
