The Jazz musician Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born on February 20 1937 in Chillicothe Ohio to iron-worker Olden Wilson and his wife Lillian Ryan who worked as a domestic servant. Nancy Wilson was the first born child at the age of 6. Her father was a music lover and played records at home. This was a major influence upon her growing up. At the age of 4years old, Nancy was aware her destiny was to be an artist. Her talents were developed through singing in the choir of her church.
