The jazz performer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born on February 20, 1937, in Ohio, Chillicothe. She was the daughter of iron worker Olden Wilson and his wife Lillian Ryan who worked as a housekeeper. Nancy is the eldest out of 6 siblings. Nancy was heavily influenced in her early years by the music that her father was a fan of and played in the his home. At just 4 an age, she was certain she'd be a singing star. The talent she developed was cultivated due to her participation in the choir at church. While still in high-school, she appeared regularly with Skyline Melodies. Around the same time she started working in nightclubs. Nancy was 17 when she finished high school. After enrolling at Ohio Central State College - today Central State University - for only one semester Nancy left to be an experienced performer. She made her first recording with Rusty Bryants Carolyn Club Big Band, which she sang with from 1956 until 1958. Nancy's very first Dot Records recording was made when she was a member of the Big Band of Carolyn Club. Cannonball Adderley encouraged her to move into New York to further her career and she went into The Big Town to begin her career in the year 1959. Within a short time she had been singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club situated on Boston Road near The Bronx. Adderley's representative heard her sing and immediately agreed to sign her. His agent signed her with Capitol in the year 1960. The year she made her debut was the same year. Guess who I saw today? Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a time span of 2 years. Under the direction of Cannonball Adderley Wilson's leadership, Wilson started focusing on R&B however she soon switched to jazz and torch music. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in 1962 was instrumental to make her a star and her hit Tell Me the Truth was recorded in 1963. In the year following, this led to her being invited to New York's Coconut Grove - the top nightclub in America.

Maisie's acting career got underway as an actor by appearing in the 2012 short Our First World. She appeared in a short movie Americano and Rum as Ellie during the year 2013. She got featured in an appearance as Korr Sella in the film Short Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. She was then cast as Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's original movies The Kissing Booth Season 2/3.
