Jeanie Marie Buss was born in America. She currently holds the position as president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the National Basketball Association's controlling owners. Buss is an California native who grew in an affluent family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon, and then later owned the Lakers. When she was in the year 1972, her parents separated together and she felt lost. She joined her family's business in the age of 19 as general manager for the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. Later, she established her own Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. The position she held was President of Great Western Forum prior to being elected vice-president of the Lakers. Buss was the inheritor of her share of the Lakers by her dad in the year 2013. The five siblings she had were the inheritors through a family estate trust. She assumed the office of the president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss co-owns Women of Wrestling an pro-wrestling promotional company based in Los Angeles.
